I Dare You To Move

“I dare you to move like today never happened; today never happened before.” – Dare You To Move by Switchfoot.  This song is about a man dealing with change at different times in his life.  Switchfoot is a Christian band, their lyrics in Dare You To Move focuses on God urging people to move, get back on their feet and to always strive to become a better version of themselves from one day to the next (like today never happened before).  

What are you doing to grow?  What are you doing to be a better person today than you were yesterday?  What challenges have you put in place to “dare you to move like today never happened before.”?  

They say it takes 21 days of action to create a habit.  Here’s a challenge for you.  For the next 30 days (hopefully longer than that) I challenge you to do two things.  1.  TAKE ACTION – Do something that you haven’t been doing that serves your higher purpose.  It could be setting aside 10% of your paycheck each week for savings, exercise for 15 minutes a day, meditate, spend time with your kids, etc.  2.  Pick up the phone and call someone you haven’t spoken with in a while and tell them how much they mean to you.
